F49007 – Curtain Safety Lock

The Curtain Safety Lock is a mechanism used to prevent a dividing curtain from unfolding in the unlikely even a mechanical or electrical system fails. It is attached to the rotating drive pipe of the curtain system and operates on the principal of centrifugal force. Should the drive pipe exceed a speed of 1.5 ft/s it will automatically lock and stop the curtain from unfolding. This product is only compatible with Electrafold and Electrafold Double Wall dividers. All other models have built in inertia stopping devices or safety straps.
