Forward Folding – Rear Braced Ceiling Mount
F850 – Ceiling Mounted Basketball Backstop
This is our most commonly used variation on the ceiling mounted backstop. It can be used for mounting heights up to 8839mm (29’-0”) and features a rear brace which attaches to the ceiling structure or wall behind the backstop.
Description
The forward folding front braced unit is used with mounting heights of up to 10,668mm (35’-0”) or when obstructions and/or space do not allow for a rear braced unit. The front brace is a crack-arm system that offers frame rigidity when in the down position and folds neatly when the backstop is raised.
