Falstaff Community Centre – Outdoor Courts – Toronto, ON.

As a part of larger community projects, the MLSE Foundation, City of Toronto, Toronto Raptors, and OVO have expanded their partnership to work with local community leaders to identify basketball courts in Toronto in need of refurbishment.

MLSE, City of Toronto, the Raptors, and OVO selected Falstaff Community Centre as the recipient of the latest court refurbishment. Falstaff Community Centre has been a pillar of the basketball community with some of Toronto’s most talented players and coaches calling Falstaff home. The youth in this area will be able to continue this legacy and use the new space as a home to be inspired by their basketball heroes on the Raptors.

The partnership chose Forum Athletic to supply and install the equipment for the newly renovated outdoor courts. We installed 8 outdoor gooseneck packages over two courts consisting of a 5-9/16″ O.D. gooseneck post with 6′ safe play extension, 42″ x 60″ glass backboard, and double breakaway rim. Backboard padding was added to provide the safest possible environment for the Falstaff community athletes. The court lines and designs were painted to complete the work, a nice finishing touch to another successful installation with our partners the MLSE Foundation, City of Toronto, the Raptors and OVO. It was a pleasure to be part of a project that will help shape the next generation of basketball players in Toronto!
