Ray Twinney Recreation Complex – Newmarket, ON

In one of our more recent installations we partnered with the Town of Newmarket to install fixed arena seating at the Ray Twinney Complex. The arena, built in 1985, was once home to the Newmarket Saints the minor league affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs from 1986 to 1991. It is currently home to the Newmarket Hurricanes of the OJHL. The facility also houses a swimming pool, wading pool, two conference rooms, a lighted outdoor multi-purpose sports field, two soccer fields, and three baseball / softball diamonds.

The project was Phase 2 for the arena and called for the removal of existing chairs in the ends and corners of the arena along with the re-installation of 1340 new Irwin Seating “Patriot” chairs.

Phase 1 of the project was completed seven years ago with the installation of Irwin Patriot chairs in the mid sections of the arena. Now, with the completion of Phase 2 in October the arena will feature a uniform, more modern looking seating arrangement to be enjoyed by the community for years to come.
